Web Design

WessingtonBFF is a local charity closely linked with Wessington Primary School. The brief was to create a fun, approachable, and child-focused website that reflected the charity’s connection to early years education and family support. The design needed to feel welcoming for parents while still capturing the playful energy of a school community.

Project Features & Functionality

The website was built using WordPress and is fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Key features include:

• A colourful, child-friendly aesthetic using soft illustrations and rounded edges
• Simple navigation tailored for all users, including parents with limited tech experience
• Events and news section for updates
• Custom contact forms to streamline communication between the charity and school

The finished site is easy to use, visually engaging, and completely aligns with the charity’s personality. It’s helped the group present a more professional and organised face to families and supporters, while remaining true to its roots in the primary school community.

This project involved a complete rebrand for The Shelf, a hairdressing salon based in Wallsend. The goal was to give the business a more modern and premium identity, starting with high-quality printed business cards that reflect their stylish and minimalist new look.

• Full rebrand with new logo and visual identity
• Minimalist layout with clean typography and sharp contrast
• Double-sided business cards printed on 450gsm silk with matte lamination
• Designed to align with interior style and salon vibe
